Little Man had a bunch of books as Christmas presents. Aunty Tip gave him this one, which I think has some proceeds going to WWF, the global environment network. It’s a sound book – not that it make sound, but you make animal noises when you read it. Little Man was looking a little sleepy so I grabbed the moment and read it to him. He liked the yelling noises and even ripped a page out, which is the ultimate compliment from a wriggly one-year old.
I gave it a three because there’s not much to it. Basically, a mouse has a question for a lion, a parrot, a panda, a crocodile, and a turtle. They can’t hear him though because they’re making too much noise (don’t bother questioning how much noise a turtle makes), so he asks a bunch of mice and they answer(again, perhaps some turtles are louder than others, but louder than mice? hmmm…).
